This Privacy Policy explains how Tell Wendy ("Tell Wendy", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our WhatsApp-based service — the Tell Wendy personal assistant ("the Service"). Tell Wendy is a service operated by Tell Bob (עוסק מורשה 040642704). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Tell Wendy is operated by Tell Bob, a sole proprietorship (עוסק מורשה) registered in Israel — reg. no. 040642704, 7 Beit Oren St., Hod HaSharon, Israel. We provide an AI-powered personal assistant that operates inside WhatsApp. You can reach us at info@tell-wendy.com or via WhatsApp at +972 55-507-2127 (Sunday–Thursday, 9:00–18:00).

2. Information we collect

• WhatsApp messages and media you send to the Service — text, images, videos, voice notes, documents, and contact cards — used to fulfil your requests.
• Account identifiers such as your WhatsApp phone number and display name.
• Content you create through the Service — e.g. tasks, reminders, meetings, contacts, notes, and lists.
• Google account data — only if you explicitly choose to connect your Google Calendar (see Section 4).
• Technical and usage data such as timestamps and error logs, used to operate and debug the Service.

3. How we use information

• To provide the Service: process your requests, generate reports and documents, schedule reminders, and reply to you in WhatsApp.
• To transcribe voice notes into text so the assistant can understand them.
• To maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Google Calendar access

Connecting your Google Calendar is entirely optional. If you choose to connect it, you grant the Service the following limited Google OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to create, update, and delete calendar events on your behalf, only when you ask the assistant to schedule, change, or cancel an event.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.freebusy — to read your free/busy availability so the assistant can suggest times and avoid conflicts.

We request the minimum scopes needed. We do not read the contents of your existing calendar events, and we do not access any other Google data (such as Gmail, Drive, or Contacts).

Limited Use disclosure

Tell Wendy's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements; we do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models; and human access to Google user data is restricted to the limited cases described in that policy (e.g. with your consent, for security, or to comply with law).

5. How we store and protect data

• Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely in our database and used only to perform the actions you request.
• Data is hosted with reputable cloud infrastructure providers (e.g. Railway, Neon, Upstash, Cloudflare) and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
• Access to production data is limited to authorised personnel.

6. Sharing with third parties

We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed, including: WhatsApp / Meta (message delivery), Google (Calendar, when connected), OpenAI and Anthropic (AI processing), Soniox (voice transcription), and our cloud hosting and storage providers. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell data.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can:

• Disconnect Google Calendar at any time by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops our access and invalidates the stored tokens.
• Request deletion of your data by contacting info@tell-wendy.com. We will delete your personal data unless we are legally required to retain it.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be communicated through the Service where appropriate.
